P.V.S. GIRIDHAR

Senior Advocate & Accredited Mediator

PVS Giridhar is a Senior Advocate designated by the Madras High Court, practising in the Madras High Court, Supreme Court, Karnataka High Court and Tribunals, incl. NCLT and NCLAT. He enrolled in Bar in 1987.

He established the law firm PVS Giridhar Associates in 1994; he exited the firm on becoming a Senior Advocate. He is an accredited Mediator on the panel of the Madras High Court.

He is a consultant to public sector companies in the Oil & Gas sector, particularly GAIL and ONGC, and also ECGC in the export credit insurance sector. He specialises in Corporate Law, Intellectual Property, Labour & Services and Civil and Property law, Insolvency and Commercial Arbitration. He has mediated major disputes between various parties, including corporate entities towars a win-win solution, saving time, cost and relationships.

He is guest faculty at the NALSAR Law University, Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU) and the National Police Academy teaching a variety of courses in Law, and delivered lectures in various universities in India and abroad on a variety of legal subjects, including at the Somerville College, Oxford University and Brussels School of International Studies.

His varied interests include Reading, Music, Salsa, Jive & Scottish Dancing, Trekking, Yoga and Travel.

Jawad A J

Senior Advocate & Accredited Mediator

After a robust 35-year as an advocate in the Madras High Court, Jawad gravitated towards mediation and found it to be his true calling. In a mediation career spanning more than 15 years, he has played a distinguished role as a Senior Trainer for the Mediation and Conciliation Project Committee at the Supreme Court of India and the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court of Madras. He also serves on the panel of arbitrators for the Madras High Court. He has mediated a variety of cases ranging from civil-commercial to matrimonial and cross-border disputes. He has conducted mediation training programs in courts all over India and at universities both within India and the UK.

He is also a certified Digital Dispute Resolution Specialist with the ADR ODR International in the UK and has worked as guest faculty for the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, which falls under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs of the Government of India and the Maharashtra National Law University. Furthermore, he has played a pivotal role as a coach, assisting the NALSAR University team in winning the ICC Paris International Mediation Competition in 2023, and the NUJS Kolkata team in triumphing at the ICC Asia-Pacific Mediation Competition in 2021.

Sreenivasu (Sreeni) Nalagandla

Sreeni graduated as a Civil Engineer and holds a Masters in Management Systems from BITS-Pilani of India.

Sreeni is an accomplished Consulting Professional with four decades of experience. He has had a versatile career spanning three decades in varied industries like Public Sector, Banking and IT before plunging into the world of consulting in USA, Europe and Middle-east. Sreeni, who has widely travelled, comes with a vast network of leadership contacts across the globe.

His professional diary contains pages as humour columnist for leading business dailies, leadership coach, conscious capitalist, and guest faculty for business schools. He loves the process of making deals and structuring win-win outcomes day in and day out.

Swapna Sundar

Swapna Sundar is a lawyer with over 20 years of experience in litigation and legal strategy. She is the senior partner of PVS Giridhar Associates – Law Chambers and Legal Strategist of IP DOME – IP Strategy Advisors. She is Chairperson of Apollo Biomedical Research Ethics committee and Chairperson of MCC-MRF Innovation center. She is also Member- Legal of several ethics committees in Chennai, including Apollo Clinical Trial committee, ICMR-NIE ethics committee, SIMS Ethics Committee, and Ethics Committee of Fortis-Malar.

After studying Political Science in MCC, she studied law at the Dr. Ambedkar Law University, and then proceeded to study International Law with International Relations in Brussels, Belgium, before joining the University of Kent at Canterbury UK to assist in teaching British Constitutional Law. She teaches IPR Law, Technology Law, Clinical Trial Ethics and related subjects at various institutions including NALSAR University of Law, Hidayatullah National Law University, Bennet Law School, IIT-Madras, URDIP, and many other law and engineering institutions. She is an author of books on law and society, she writes articles on law and technology. She lives and works in chennai.
